Why Revitalize the Qipao

The Qipao, a traditional beauty and a source of pride for Eastern women, has gradually faded in the tides of time. We refuse to accept this decline and are determined to revitalize the Qipao, allowing people around the world, as well as the younger generation locally, to fall in love once again with this charming, elegant, and culturally rich attire.

Inspiration and Practice

Originating in the 1920s, the Qipao has a history of over a century. We draw design inspiration from the Qipao of 1960s Hong Kong, a period when Western culture influenced a more tailored cut that accentuated the female form. We have moved away from heavy silk and embroidery, introducing lightweight cotton and polyester to make the Qipao easier to care for and wear. Bold floral and geometric patterns are popular, often paired with handbags, high heels, and stylish hairstyles, allowing wearers to showcase their unique style—retaining tradition while infusing modern fashion and vitality. Hong Kong, a city where East meets West, has given the Qipao a unique charm, representing a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

20s is like a classic old Hong Kong movie. From the store decor to the Qipao styles, makeup, accessories, and photography techniques, we immerse every customer in a cinematic experience, allowing them to become the radiant protagonist showcasing their unique charm. We aim to make the Qipao more than a museum exhibit, transforming it into a vibrant presence on the streets; a place where tradition and fashion intersect, shining brightly.
